Outdoor Orchid Growing in Southern California - Seminar

This might only be relevant to phalpal...but if there are any other geeks in the general vicinity...there's going to be a seminar on growing orchids outdoors here in Southern California given by Merle S. Robboy, MD held this Sunday at 2pm in Costa Mesa.

My GF and I plan on waking up super early (8am) and driving down to the Carlsbad Flower Fields to see the orchid show for a couple hours and then drive back up to Costa Mesa to catch the seminar. Then we'll check out the vendors and only be tempted by super deals. Hopefully.

I would love to go to this Carlos. I'll see what Dave has planned for this Sunday and try to plan around it. Hope to run into your guys there!

BTW - if you have never been to The Flower Fields Orchid Show don't count on much. I went last year and they had twenty vendors at most in very small booths.
Andy's Orchids wasn't even there. However, the fields of flowers are amazing!

It will be our first time attending the flower fields show so thanks for the heads up. I'll tell the GF to not expect much.
