WoW!! Thank you for the pics! I only live about 3 hours north of the city, but we have some other trips planned and money is tight. (since I've been spending it on orchids!) Maybe next year. Something to plan for!

Believe me, this show is better in person than just seeing the pictures I took! Of the photos I snapped, I was keeping in mind the family here at Geeks. I know many of you have favorites, and I tried to snap a little of everything.
I'll be going back again, because they're having continuing education courses on each of the 4 Saturdays through March and April at the Garden pertaining to various aspects of orchid culture such as troubleshooting, repotting, etc. and I'd like to attend them all.

I went a few weeks ago and it was FANTASTIC!!! But I will warn you, it gets really hot and I wish that I'd dressed a bit lighter, as I had to carry around all my camera stuff and it was pretty exhausting....

if anyone here has flickr, feel free to tag any of the photos in my set with the proper name... I was being conservative with my memory card and I made the mistake of not photographing the little name tags at each plant, so I came home and realized that I had a ton of pretty photos but I couldn't actualy label them as to which type of orchid they were...
