19th World Orchid Conference

Hi! I was wondering if anyone is planning on attending the 19th World Orchid Conference taking place in Miami in January of 2008?

Hi Jessie, and a warm welcome to the forum. I am not certain if we have any members in Miami or even close, but if I was a betting man I would say it is even money that someone from the geeks will be there.

I'm planning on going also. I will probably stay over one day. I am about 3 1/2 hours away. I know I will be too exhausted from ooohhhhhing and aaahhhing all day to drive home. Sandra is talking about going also. Viv is planning on it. As discussed in an earlier thread, we think we should wear OrchidGeek name tags so we can all meet!

........and Nancy and prisana will be there too. I'll be getting rooms for Ellen (chef) and myself when the time gets a little closer! We're all planning on getting together for a night out the Friday night of the convention so don't make plans Jessie, you'll join us!
