Normans Orchids Open House (SO CAL)

Normans Orchids is having their annual open house April 20-29, 2007. Many of you order orchids online from them. Address is 11039 Monte Vista Avenue, Montclair, California. As always, the weather will be perfect!

Well..... went to Normans Open House and all of you didn't miss much. For all the 1000's of orchids they have online they had very FEW displayed and on sale. SOOOO disappointed! I am a phal lover and they had less 15? or so to view and only one - three of each type to choose from. They advertised "come see our 10,000 sq ft greenhouse" and the only way to see it was from the outside from the parking lot. Two small aisles of orchids for sale (mostly bareroot) and we were not allowed to see any other part of Normans. They are such an amazing place to shop from online I really expected at least a fraction of this in person. Not even close.
