Oh I would love to go! Unfortunately I will be stuck in Grand Rapids as I graduate that Saturday. A good thing in itself (yay, first four years of college are done!) ...but it would be so nice to get away to Chicago for the weekend.
Any other good shows in the area?

If you can't make the Chicago Orchid show, perhaps you might want to look into the Northwestern Michigan Orchid Society Show, Grand Traverse Civic, 1213 W. Civic Center Drive, Traverse City, Michigan. Their show will be held May 26-27th.

Ah yes, good ole TC. Alas, I will be at a convention in Washington that weekend. Busy girl here!
I was thinking that the TC show might be rather small though. I went to the Grand Rapids show at the Frederik Meijer Gardens, and that one was decent sized. It seemed mainly to serve those who were very new to orchids, and it didn't have much variety. Though, it may have been larger the previous year. Traverse City is a rather small city, much smaller than Grand Rapids ...does small city equate to small orchid show? I want to go a MASSIVE orchid show...orchids galore...which means I'll probably have to make a trip down to Florida or somewhere.
