Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show -

Hi, all!

This isn't an orchid show persay, but I thought some of you might be interested in it. The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show is coming up soon, and there will be lots to see! We all like to grow orchids, but it's also fun to see how they are used by professionals in floristry and landscape design. Here are the stats of the event:

WHEN: March 28-April 1, 2007, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
WHERE: Royal Exhibition Building & Carlton Gardens, Carlton, Victoria, Australia

I myself will be competing in the "Intermediate" student competition for floristry, where I will (of course) be using yellow cyms as part of my arrangement.

Thanks for listing this! While there isn't a formal orchid section or presentation it does feature orchids throughout in cut flower displays inside and there are usually at least 3 or so vendors that sell orchids. So it's definitely worth the while in my opinion.
