| Arlene - I'm dreaming of visiting my daughter at grad school in Santa Cruz this same weekend for her birthday and visiting the Expo the same week - just keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the Siskyou's will behave themselves during that time frame - significant snow accumulation could be a definate deterrant?! Looks like it would be great fun. mike |

| I plan on going with my husband, youngest daughter, mom and dad (and possibly a friend or two). I hope to see you two - Mike & Rena. How about revealing ourselves so we know what each looks like?  If you're both ok with that, let's do it when the time gets closer.

| it turns out that i may not be able to go this year at all. no money  and knowing me, i prolly wouldn't be able to help myself so it's better to stay away from temptation. |

| Rena, sorry to hear you're not going. I can understand. I've been saving up some of my allowance. So I can afford 1 or 2 (mini/compact) plants. And, knowing my dad, he just might buy one for me! He has done that the last couple times. Next time, I have to be strong and not accept his offer.  Space with ample light is now very limited in my house!

| button -- I believe there will be one or two orchid suppliers at the show this weekend. However, I don't know if they will have grow lights. Mike -- Sorry to hear you won't be attending. I'll definitely be taking some pics and will share them here.

| I had an awesome time at the show yesterday! There were a lot of people, which made taking pictures difficult, so I was only able to take about 80. I wish I could take more. I also ended up bringing home 4 new plants-- Yamadara Sammie Evans "Kiilani" Lc. Sacramento Rose Paph. delenatii 'Hsin-Ming' SM/TPS x Paph. delenatii 'HF Amy's challenge' AM/AOS Eplc. Mae Bly 'Ching Hua Splash'--although this one's bloom doesn't look the same as some of the pictures I've seen of it. Its missing some of the purple markings on some of the other petals. I can't wait for some of these to bloom! |
