| Getting camera lessons
My daughters friend is going to teach me how to use my camera. All I know how to do is point and shoot and to make a video on it. I don't know how to fine tune etc. Anyway I am excited!!!  Tara

i think that the real lucky part was that she actually had a tag...... with the damage this one sustained i am sure it will be some time before it blooms again.......i'm sure yours will be in spike soon enough....they are awesome to photograph |

Good luck with the new digi. I've got the powershot sd1000 and I've gotten some pretty good shots with it. Good camera.

Powershot is actually a really good camera! A friend of mine has one and she takes some of the same pictures that we can take with our DSLR's! Good luck! |

I don't even know the video function. I think my son's little camera is a powershot and is way better than mine. I think I need new technology, and new glasses.

Well I have posted pics on here since I received the camera nad oo boy not so good, the young man that was going to teach me dared to graduate and move away lol. I may got to Best Buy and take lessons there. Jacqui I cant seem to get the video downloaded into an email..argh! I transported it to my desktop and it plays on there, but when I pick it to attach it will not do it so I gotta go back to the drawingboard and try it again. Tara |

Good luck! I am obsessed with shooting flowers and just bought some orchids just to take pictures of. The thing that has helped me most is getting a a tripod so I can use a slower shutter speed and longer exposure and get a large depth of field to get more of the flower in the shot. You might want to turn the fans off too so they aren't shaking because with slower shutter speeds things need to be really still.

LOL oh my you sound like you know what you are doing, I dont use fans in the winter here too dang cold so no prob there. I am trying to figure out how to transport video off my camera to an email or to you tube, harder than jsut taking a good pic and I cant do that yet. Tara
