how to use the moble photobucket??

Hi everyone,
Ok been having server errors trying to do the manage attacments and pulling picks from my blackberry.
So I got a mobile photobucket account, now my new issue lol I can't open 2 pages of web at once to llike copy paste the url addy so my question is.....
When you open photobuckets albums click on a pic. I see the url box clixk on that. Ok its a very long url and it includes my name in it on my account after all of that gibberish alien language it says jpg at end of it. Ok so since I can't open 2 web pages at once to copy paste it do I manually type all of that jibberish from beginning to end in the Url box under the paper clip or manage attachments section for url then up load that and a pic should pop up in the thread ??

Ok after 2 days. And a bit over an hour trying to do this from Photo bucket I'm defeated.... My head hurts. And my paticents is at the edge been breathing to clam down but now that's just making me Dizzy I give up.... I don't know what else to do but not post pics because I'm not able to anymore for some weird reason. But on the sunny note I still get to enjoy all of yours on here
So that's not so bad . Maybe flicker is easier if they have a moble version.
The problem I'm haveing with photobucket is the img link and direct lin are to long on the photobucket page under the image when you click on url's it give 4 ways including email /text and MMS messaging. I tried direct and IMG ones typing it in manually but geeks msg to uplloading is its to long I don't know what to cut out to shorten it lol oh well...

Emm- you don't upload links.

You just copy and paste into the main body like any other internet link.

I tried to copy past the links but I can't. I can't open 2 web sites at once on the black berry bold. So when I click to copy. Then close it sign on here go through all the steps to get to the thread and all its no longer there for me to paste it it just dissappears so ve tried typing in both the urls for img and html and geeks msg says its to long

I used the notification email link that it uploaded to photobucket successfully link it let me copy paste that hopefully if it did I need to save every notification after uplading there then and not use the actual site at all

Oh no that gives everyone access to my whole album. I didn't want that on here (now I have to make sure I don't post any embarising pics on there lol because everyone can see them evey time this thread comes up) ooooppSsss lol

Emm hope you forgive me, but I played around with your pictures. I can remove this if you want.

I just copied the whole img code, and pasted it in the body on quick reply.

And it shows up.

Even if you can't open two windows, you still should be able to use copy and paste. open photobucket, click on the pic you want, copy the img code, close the window, open OG go to where you want, and paste. by clicking on your individual pic, you only copy the code for the picture instead of the whole album

Oh cool! No worries Renee . I pmed Synda. Like I said only orchid pics I loaded this morning on there. Just worried about * year or 2 down the road might have an embarrising moment photo on there and someone revisits this thread years from now lol and of course that might be embarrising later lol I asked Synda to remove the link to the whole album and my acct I was actually hoping to do what you just did when I tried and opps lol. I will try to do what you just did and see if I can actually do it also

Sigh... Ok its the picture only this time but why won't it put a picture here instead of the link to it.??? I clicked on a pic at photobucket when it enlarged I cliced on the pic and clicked copy picutre img from my phone menu choices then pasted in quick reply and its the link not a pic in the thread like yours did you click on the pic you selected then hit url button under the pick and choose the img there? When I did that it put my whole album up

I haven't used Mobile Photobucket much on my iPhone, but I would say if you get the two pages up, ie search for a page, then do another search for the second page, do your copy in Photobucket, then use the arrow keys in the browser to take you the Geeks page, then paste the URL into that.

I think.

Sounds complicated, but in effect, I think it would be simple.

I use mobile photobucket all the time. Open two separate tabs (one with photobucket and the other with Orchidgeeks) and then click on the URL link, copy the entire Direct Link address (it's the second one down), and paste it into the address bar that pops up when you click on the little mountain icon above the text box here. It will upload the picture just like it did for Renee.

That's the problem Anton.. Can't open 2 pages at once on the Blackberry Bold phone can only do one at a time so I have to go to photobucket. Copy, close he page, sign in at geek open thread hit reply and copy. But now it pastes a link to the poic but not the actual pic itself I think Renee did that pic on her PC so she was able to get the actual picture to post. I'm thinking it the type of phone I have is why this is so difficult. I phone and droid have the capabilities to open more pages like a computer, these older blackberrys don't. They have a new blackberry that has touch screen and slider keyboard thet recently came out so I wonder if that one opens more pages at once. I traded my droid for this and paid a re stocking fee. That thing. Was a nightmare on here lol kept changing names and words to what it wanted to. It kept calling Shann, shane it would do that when I hit send or post. Didn't know how to get pics off it and and slight bump opps al deleted so start all over
So I went back to a black berry. But I do miss how fast the droid was but not the headache.
So yeah, I think its my phone now that is making things so difficult.

I will try this out but my phone doesn't have the caability of "opening 2 pages or sites at once". I have to go to one get it copy close it go to next one log in open thread reply and paste lol so that's how I keep just getting links instead of pics. But I will try this long hand and use the mountian an see if it will work the hard way with that icon and give me a pic and not a link to pic.

You need to put the IMG tag first [ img ] (no spaces) then [/ img ] at the end (no spaces).

I use imgur; I know they have an IOS5 app; they might for your phone, too.

Orchidmentia!!!!! . That's it !!! It worked. god what a lot of steps but it worked.
I used the first part Renee said got to photobucket click on which pic you want then it gets bigger then click menu button on phone only option I have is copy pic link. Click that. Close photobucket sign on to geeks open my thrad. Click on quick reply open the reply box click on phone menu click paste. Then in front of the http I stuck the [img] and after the end jpg I put the [/img] and vola. That's the trick to blackberry bold and photo bucket to geeks threads

I still want to see what the icon Bearded sad to use will do

Anton, if you have an iPhone, you might like this app for on-the-go uploading. No cut-and-paste required; it copies the URL to the clipboard automatically when you tap which size you'd like. I paste to Notes when posting multiple images than copy the whole shebang when posting quickie phone photos here. No imgur account support yet, but if you're using IOS5 and Cloud, your MobileMe from iPhone is gone (dammit) and this is much faster than Photobucket. Besides, your good photos are going to be transferred to a computer anyway.

There's also an Android and Windoze version I believe.

For Geeks, I prefer to upload from iPhoto, I find if I want to upload to Photobucket, I don't have any issues as such.

BTW there's a great app for iPhones called Dermandar which is an easy panoramic creator which you can upload to into public and private galleries.
