Oh I was able to download it and I opened it with Explorer. It came up with a bunch of programming stuff. Leads to get to threads. No viruses. But I'm not that tech savvy, so does my butt no good. I deleted it once I knew what it was.

I was also going through withdrawal. The only way I can access the forum is via bonsaigeeks; I'm still getting that request to download the app. Any fix in sight?

I apologize to you all there was a problem with the software the server needed to fix i am deeply sorry it took a while to get sorted hopefully all will be well now once again I am sorry members thank you Fred |

I've been having the same problem. However, for some weird reason, I just learned it depends on the browser I'm using. I just decided to try browsing the forum via Safari browser. It works. When I use Firefox, I get a dialog box asking where I want to save the file. I guess there are a few more things to be fixed on the server?

believe me I missed all of you as well All of the Site Owners sites were affected I am glad we are all back together again |

please no ones system is at fault it was the software that is hosted via the host server no one is to blame well no one on the forum that is I will however have a talk with the Site Owner regarding the server there needs to be better communication between the Server and the Site Owner and myself. The site owner was even caught by surprise with this one |

I use Firefox and IE. I got the dialogue box on both when I visited the forum this morning. Now IE is fine but Firefox is still having problems. Curiously, now the problem only occurs when I open the homepage in Firefox. I can open forum pages and individual posts in Firefox OK by entering the address into the address bar. ![]() |

| LOL!!!! I love it!!! But just like Fred said, It's the mealybugs, LOL!

Glad you're back! I too, was going thru withdrawls! I had my son check at work because I thought it was my computer. ) When He said it was the same on his at work, I knew that it wasn't my computer's fault. He started to explain some thing about the P H having a problem and I said STOP! I don't understand that stuff! ( He's a programmer) I was just glad that it wasn't anything I had done! Glad everything is o.k.!![]() |

I am a linux user and therefore a Firefox fan by default and I was getting the file as well. Being a computer guy by trade I could tell what was happening but was still getting the shakes until it came back up. :-) I have to admit I feel much better today! Fred, let me know if you get the techno-babble run-around. I may be able to translate for you :-) |

If you are still having problems with the forum please read to fix the problem for IE you will need to clear their "web cache" and then hit f5 a couple times to refresh the page. That should get rid of the problem. In fire fox go to "tools" and then "clear private data" check off clear cache. the same can be done if you go into your PC control panel double click Internet options delete all cookies, Temp Files Passwords History for Windows I am not sure about Mac. you will have to remember to save your password before doing the above as you will have to re enter your forum password to log in this should solve the problem. I sure hope this helps you |
