| I'd go for a name tag (not huge). I'm not one for tshirts with stuff all over them (sorry phalpal ). When I was a girl scout leader our troop was the only one that didn't wear their uniform ALL THE TIME. Not crazy about uniforms. Just my opinion for what it's worth, NancyG |

| I was thinking just a white t-shirt with a logo or something on the front and www.orchidgeeks.com on the back. It doesn't have to be fancy; graphics can be very expensive so the simplier the better. I always wear a t-shirt to shows anyway because I get so darn dirty lugging plants around. A name tag can easily go unnoticed.

| LOL PhalPhal - that's true. Tess the BlingGeek! Gentlemen... please join us in this conversation. I would guess that they would prefer the name tags, or polo shirts... but that is a guess. I couldn't believe my eyes at the Denver Show. The women were definitely outnumbered. |

| I will opt for name tags than anything else. But I see only 3 members from around here- i.e. within a 50km radius robb is far away, about 5500km. So I am not sure if it will be of much help in Toronto. Good idea though.

| Hmmm... any thoughts from the administrators, about how we might go about advertising this forum while also recognizing one another? Name tags are most dignified indeed, but they also have to be carefully read at rather close quarters. When I'm at an orchid show I'm not cool enough to be reading peoples' chests... I'm staring at the orchids most often. What about a colorful button with a GEEKS logo that would stand out more than a name tag, not require close-up reading, and be distinctive enough to spot easily... yet not commit its wearer to any particular style of dress??? (On the other hand, I too love the idea of geek-bling!)

| joan gero: I guess you are right. It may be a bit impractical to read the name tags and identify other members from OGF. An emblem/logo may be the way to go ![]()
