Just a thought. What if there was a new Forum for hydroponic/ semi-hydroponic growing. Maybe a Sub-Forum for Cultivation like Orchid Mounting is a sub-forum of Orchid Potting Mediums. Maybe it should be a second subforum there.

There seems to be a growing number of members that are moving that way.

Jay,
Several of the vendors and growers in my area have been using hydroponic/
semi-hydroponic for a few years now. My last visit to one of the vendors
(who does not use this method) told me that some of them are moving away
from using this and are going back to their conventional methods. I will find
out more about why when I attend our first orchid society meeting in early
Sept.

Thanks, I would really like to hear more why people are getting away because I am just moving that way.

Just another reason there should be another sub-forum for semi-hydro. A lot to talk about there.
