Orchid-lord, Good idea.. but I'm afraid I would leave this world long before my artwork is finished . So if you don't mind, I'll count myself out.

Too bad we can't get a retailer to donate some items for prizes. That would be great fun!

I enjoy the photo comp because I don't have to draw. I'm afraid I stopped at the stick people stage. HaHa

I'm with you Ellen. My drawing skills are outranked by any 2-year old. However, I enjoy the photo comp. Even if I don't have a picture to enter, I enjoy seeing what others are growing and checking out the photography skills.

No more, have enough categories now, otherwise we'll be swamped.

A good suggestion orchid_lord.

But I will have to concur with Anton. Too many categories may lose its appeal.

Besides, painting and drawing takes time and it will take the time away from the orchids

But it is,nevertheless, a good idea.
