How to stay logged on?

I keep getting logged off of the forum even though I check the "remember me" box. Why is this? It has been happening since the website was redesigned.

I would wonder if it is something on your end as I have never had that problem? Do you "clean" your computer regularly of temporary files including cookies? If so, you would be removing the "remember me" yourself. Just a thought? mike

Hi is it logging you off after you have been idle for awhile? What internet browser are you using? Make sure you have cookies enabled... As a security feature the system logs a user off after 15 minutes of non use. I just changed this right now to 30 minutes. Let me know if you are still experiencing it before the 30 minute idle period.

Ellen

I have the same issue. It also happens to me on another site I use quite a bit. Sometimes I think its my antivirus or firewall. Tony

Yes some firewalls and virus protection programs have a setting for "Do not allow Cookies" This forum software uses a cookie to remember you, so this may explain why it does not remember you if you have a setting like this turned on. Hope this makes sense
