Converting pdf images to jpg for uploading

Anton and any other geek who maybe interested. If you wish to upload a pic with your post and the site will not allow because your pic is a pdf file there is a relatively simple way to get round the problem. When you have the pic on screen in adobe reader you will find on the toolbar just to the left of the 'search web' field the picture tasks icon. Click on this and you get a menu that will allow to export pics. click 'export picture' and in the next screen you find 'File names' with choice of two radio dots; one 'original name', and two 'common base name'. Choose common base name and add .jpg. You can then export the pic to your post. It is also possible to edit your pic. Bill

Thanks Bill for the input to our readers, but the issue is more complex.

Anton is a professional photographer and knew how to convert and reduce the size but it is still not working.

I posted his picture today and had no problem. There seems to be a basic problem with the bulletin board that appears to be intermittent.

I do not seem to have a problem, probably because of my forum status as a Moderator. I have been able to post photos even when Dave could not and he owns the site.

Anyone having problems can email me and Dave the problem and hopefully we will find the cause.

Sorry for the problems.

There is another problem pending. You should be able to post photos directly into the post, but when I do it now it edits the code to a hyperlink. Another problem to resolve.
