Just had an email from Oak Hill. I placed my order early yesterday (Tuesday) morning thinking it would ship this week. They are holding my order until Monday.

They also indicated that the 25% discount would apply to "any of the 4 varieties on your Geek special that you order".

I got this through e-mail:

"Thank you for your order! We normally ship plants on Monday and Tuesday so that they are received B4 the weekend. If we receive your order after noon on Tuesday it may not ship until the following week. If this is a problem, please contact us ASAP.

I guess that means they shipped. I placed the order around 8AM EST Tuesday.

Hummer, if you're asking about the species project, these are the 4 plants:

Phalaenopsis amboinensis
Paphiopedilum spicerianum
Koellensteinia graminea
Aspasia lunata

and yes, having trouble accessing A LOT of the threads and posts!

Yes, I spoke with them (via email) last night and Liese offered that they're going to give us the 25% because of the business we gave her.

It seems we are having a site problem with posts over 50 replies. I don't know if eveyone
is affected, but I know I am through both my browers. I notified Fred and he has alerted
Dave of the condition. I can see posts under 50 responses, but any of them over 50
is telling me there is a software problem. I haven't had a chance to order because
I haven't been able to access the posts to get all the info. Hoepfully this will be cleared
up soon. Fred sends his appologies to those having the problem.

I didn't get to read any of the posts about this project, and wanted to, and haven't been able to access...so I don't even know anything about it.

psyc, sorry about this. There's a lot to read but in summary, it's a growing project. It won't be too late for you to join if you decide to after reading the thread. I've copied the ordering info in the post above if you're interesting in joining in now. Once the site is performing properly, just post the plant/s you ordered (in the Winning Orchid(s) post in the Species Project thread) so that we can include you in the sub-forum that has yet to be set up. You can order more than one plant for the project, if you wish.

Great Tobi! Favor please: when the site is up and working 100%, would you mind posting that you ordered the plant (again) in the Winning Orchid(s) thread so we can keep all this info. in one place? I already know you wouldn't mind, right?
