Bird Song Farm is on a distinguished road
Update - P. Naples Nights 06-07-08

Some of you may remember that when I ordered 2 of these phals. I was contemplating potting them up together. Taking into consideration the advice of some who made me realize that if one of them became ill it would probably quickly effect the other; I decided to mount the plants instead. This will give me the opportunity to remove one quickly should something unexpected happen.
So,here they are, one week after mounting. So far all is well. Both plants are doing well with nice firm leaves and good color. I am growing them in a bit brighter light than I normally would, a shaded south window.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
AL

They look great. That will be quite the show if they bloom together. Oh I can't wait to see that. Thanks for sharing and keep us updated.

AL~ I really like the choice that you made! And the setup is just way too cool. How big is that mount BTW? I think there are only two members that mounted their Phals and that's you and Connie. Not for sure on that though. It looks wonderful!!! Makes me think I might do this to mine when it comes to repotting.

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for the kind words! The mount is about 9" tall by 12" wide at the bottom.
Sure hope the leaves grow to almost cover it!! Hopefully next year it will put on a show for us.

Hi, Al! It looks REALLY great! You're right, that it's going to look even nicer when the leaves are bigger and it's all in bloom! I can picture it now....
