Are we looking at that tiny slit over the bottom leaf? If so, that is the earliest I think anyone has tried to call a spike - yowser, I'm impressed if it is..........

Thanks, Bunny! I know that it's tiny, but it wasn't there a few days ago, so I'm hoping.

Mayers- That's why I'm still using a question mark! I'm hopeful....I'll keep watching it. It might be the start of a new root- We'll see. Hopefully down the road, I can call it a spike for sure!

I sure hope it's a spike. If not, then it's a sign that your Phal Naples like the environment it's in. Mine is doing nothing at this time.

Patti, Jerry did say that some of the Naples Nights were starting to spike. Maybe your growth was just below, still hidden in the medium What a wonderful thing to finally see the flowers on that little chid--please keep us posted with progress reports

Jenny... Oh, Yea!!! I hear ya! I look at this little guy every day! I keep saying " please do something else!" It's a little bigger, but boy is it slow!!

my little sad Naples Nights is still hanging in and I think it is going to make it, fingers crossed!

I do have one with a spike and buds can't wait to see those beautiful flowers.
