Day 1-Phal Naples Night 4/17/08

I repotted my Phal in a fine orchid mix, which I have had good luck using for my other Phal.

It's longest leaves are 4 inches, I love the colors on the leaves! I can't wait to see how fast it will grow.

Here are some pics of repotting and its new home.

Yours looks great April. I like those leaves too. They're more attractive than on any Phal I've had before.

Thanks!

Jenny, that mix is the fine orchid mix by Schultz. I will have to wait till I get home to tell you exactly whats in it, I am at work and can't remember!

I have trouble using the spagh, I did try with my other Phal and just didn't like it, it was either too dry or too wet.

I will see how things grow, as I might try a new mix, been looking at some of the mixes on repotme.

Oh okay. I know what's in it. You just said it was in fine orchid mix at first, but didn't give details.

April, Your plant looks good! I don't like sphag. either. Sometimes a little mixed in for plants that need more moisture. I like the Schultz's mix too- Good choice in my book.
