They're beautiful Fred. I don't think you'd want to build over them. They're too pretty.

Great roses, Fred! I miss having them here but we don't have a proper water hook up outside to keep 'em alive.

How pretty. I love roses too. Worth every prick and scratch. Mine are almost done for the year. Almost time to cut them back. Do you any names for them? Your wife is a lucky lady. I have to grow my own roses.

The peachy pink ones are just beautiful Fred. Love them. They look very healthy too by the way. I have a hard time with powdery mildew and black spots. Roses are one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.

Rose Garden

I love roses also and volunteer in a large rose garden. The picture really doesn't do it justice. I don't have a lot of rose at home <20 but the garden has 4500 roses with 3500 different varieties. I play with my orhcids just to have something that doesn't leave puncture wounds on my arms. LOL

Fred they are GORGEOUS!! Is there anything you can't grow beautifully?

Roses are the one thing that I just didn't have a knack for. I tried and tried and tried...they just didn't like living w/me.

Thanks for sharing these beauties!

last year my mum bought Tequila Sun Rise for my wife
my mother picked this one out for my wife when she bought the rose I was with her and I thought she wanted the rose for her garden and my mum bought me a Hippeasterm
back then I could bring plants back here from Victoria
it never bloomed well at all but this season its in its true glory.
so it really means alot to me to see this in bloom plus my wife loves the flowers

Fred, what a pretty garden. Your wife was correct to show that. "Yes dear." Too funny. You are similar to my husband.
We were in California recently. They have some stunning roses.

Oh my yes! I help take care of the rose bushes for the nuns that I work for. (My friend Sue and I do) We're in upstate NY- (near Albany)- We still have blooms 'hanging on' in Dec. - but there's nothing like the beautiful rush of bloom in June up here- probably like what Fred is having now....(or you have where you are!) biggrin: (the opposite side of the planet!!!)

Fred you got some really pretty ones there. Love them. Mine are done for the year. I just pruned them back. I have the cuts and shredded skin to prove it. LOL!!!

Hummer34, I totally understand. I'm a human pin cushion every time I work on the rose bushes.

Fred, they're all gorgeous. I love them all but especially the apricot and orangey ones.
Thank you for sharing. It's still a few months until we get roses in bloom in the UK.

You just put me in a happy calm state with those photos. Those roses are absolutely lovely. My avatar is of a rose I saw in a botanical garden. I don't know its name but it would fit nicely into your collection.
