| Greg is right, there are literally thousands of varieties of african violets! Unfortuently, there is no real way of telling what you have. There are so many violets that look simular or even identical to other varieties. For a plant that you don't know the variety of, in the violet world, we call them NOIDs (No Identity). It's better to call it NOID, then to pass a leaf on to someone who "thinks" it is a certain variety when it is not.
