| Next we have my Fuschias, followed by my Snow Fountain Cherry tree. That's how it looked back in March when it bloomed. It's full of leaves right now. And finally, we have part of my front yard, this is how it looked back in March/April before everything starting coming up out of the ground in that flower bed.

| Oh, wonderful pics! No other flower embodies the whole "Spring Thing" like bleeding hearts. They're so graceful and besides, they were in my grandmother's garden. And I like johnny-jump-ups so much better than the bigger pansies. I have them, too, and sometimes they are perennial and are spreading all over the yard. Thanks for sharing...(insert smiley face)

| The picture with the violas is from back when they first started really coming up. Funny thing is that last year, I had only 1 small plant. This year they have gone mad, and i love it. I hope they continue to take over that flower bed. I'll post an updated picture of them, probably tomorrow.

| Fantastic pics JoBeth and better than that, is what they're of. The iris is to die for I foolishly tried growing the bleeding hearts here in Fla. HA! My cousin in Boston has them growing all over her backyard...envy, envy, envy. And the Snow Fountain Cherry tree....gorgeous! I've never seen one before. What a treat! Thanks for sharing! |

| JoBeth, I love the lilies. Never seen those before. It's different. Jenny, I have a Chinese Lantern plant. Although it has blooms that have the paper thin petals that are kind of like a pouch that opens eventually. They don't look like Fuschias though. Maybe they use that term for different plants. I will take a pic. of mine when I get a chance.

| JoBeth, your yard is beautiful! Isn't it wonderful to see everything come back to life after a long, dreary winter? Never heard of fuschias being call chinese lanterns, they are two different plants. Here the old fashioned name for fuschias is "ladies ear drops". Seems very appropriate! Al |
