Help! Non-orchid plant question.

Hi,

I just bought a beautiful plant at my greenhouse and the sticker on it said it was a Sennetis, but it didnt have any care instructions. It has bright, deep purple flowers that look very similar to daisies, but have a black center and is a bit bushy. I've run searches on the internet for Sennetis, but nothing comes up. Anyone know another name this plant goes by? Or, know what kind of light, water, temps it likes?

From your description I would guess at osteosporum. Do a google and see if the picture looks like your plant Here's hoping for you...Let us know what you find...

Does anyone know how to propagate by a cutting? I assume just put a cutting in water? Is there any way that will be more reliable? THis plant is only propagated by cutting because the seeds arent true seeds.
