| Hello, I let the surface of the potting medium dry out between waterings. This one likes to be moist but not wet. Keep it in bright but indirect light. Direct sunlight will burn the leaves in summer. I give it a diluted fertilizer (about one quarter strenght) watering every month or so. I also mist the foliage every morning. You don't want the leaves to be wet at night. Cheers. |

| After living for over a decade in the Pacific Northwest, I've come to consider ferns as weeds. Before moving here, I never thought I would be using a weed whacker to knock back sword ferns to make a path through the woods. The fern spores float through the air, sneak through the tiniest cracks, and come up in the orchid pots in my greenhouse. They're worse than oxalis. |
