Night blooming cereus

I just noticed a bud this evening! It should open soon! Hope to get a pic of it. This is not a good shot. Will try again tomorrow. Hope it opens tomorrow night!
My neighbors opened 7 flowers last week. She tried to call me but I was in bed and missed it. This is a first bloom on this plant. I'm so excited! I hear you can actually watch it open!

I love the night blooming cereus Gladys. I love them so much, I've been collecting a dinner pattern with this flower from the 1940's by Santa Anita Ware, very dramatic and beautiful dishes. So far, I've got 4 completed place settings and now going for another 4.....ebay, of course!

Anway, sorry to get off track with your fun news. Enjoy your beautiful upcoming blooms.
