Went air boating again, nature is great!

We went air boating again on Sunday. I just get such a thrill seeing the outside the way it's supposed to be, not how we have manufactured it. Here are a few pics of things I saw.

#1 simple purple flower. Look to the right and see the dragonfly.
#2 waterlilies. I can't get enough of them.
#3 oak tree with spanish moss. No nursery could make something so magnificent. I'm thinking of printing this old lady in black and white.
#4 some type of Hibiscus. These pink beauties are growing in huge masses in the water along the edges everywhere.
#5 white tail deer. We caught these deer at the water's edge, drinking. Look at the orange coats. These are their spring coats. They get brown in the fall. Nice healthy specimens, aren't they. ( Sorry, I know they're not plants, just couldn't resist these cuties.)

We used to see a lot of Sikka Deer (?sp) and Jap Deer along Chesapeake Bay when I was working down there on an international eye study in 1991.

We also saw them at Chincoteague Assateague running around the place as well when my wife and I visited there, they would just stand in the marshes 100 yards from the road grazing, fascintating.

These photos are awesome Ellen. Love those beautiful deer and dragonfly are one of my favorite. I know Summer's here when they start making their appearances. I have a thing for them, I collect all sorts of dragonfly artifacts. There's a sanctuary close to my house that I love to go to and walk and just chill out and whenever I go, the lilies always make me pause and realize how beautiful and perfect and amazing mother nature is.

Thank you all so much. As much as I enjoy it outside, I get a bit apprehensive sharing it because I'm just not that good at photography yet. I'm trying hard to learn more.
