Peruvian daffodils

Surprise!! I never even saw the spike on this one. I love this one so much - my mom gave it to me last year.

I have some of these too. I have to dig the bulbs every year of course, but they are beautiful.

I have always wanted to try some of these in my garden b/c they are different and pretty.

Do you treat yours like dahlias, glads and other bulbs you plant in the spring and then take out in the fall?

Exactly what I do, Sunshine. I tried starting them in pots early, but they didn't flower that year so now I just put them in the ground in an area of pretty much full sun.

Good to know I had mine 2 years no blooms they sprout grow fiZzle out I grow mine in a pot facing east on the front porch get morning sun. I thin the tag said feet in the shade so they get dappled light and some full sun with the pine tree partially shading the feet. So I will move them this year try the pot one more time more sun. If no luck then I will stick them in the growund somewhere next time

Hey, Emmaye! I know the weather up there is a little different, but I have mine in a pot that gets pretty much full sun all day. It gets watered once a week unless it rains, and I only repotted it once last year. That was only because the pot tipped over in my car and 1/2 the soil came out. It blooms reliably every year, and even the dogs going potty on it doesn't seem to have had any adverse effects.

Our winter temps dipped into the low 40s - high 30s and I never moved it. Try throwing it in a real sunny spot, hit it with some Miracle Grow and see what happens.

Hi, Tony, and thank you. No, these little beauties are pure white. I'll get a better pic in the morning.

Hope you find them. I've had mine for 2 years, but I think I still see them there.
