wow, ive never seen them bloom, am i correct in thinking that their common name is 'mother in laws tongue'?

They are common in the gazillions here! Every Dr's office has one, so it seems. I grow mine inside a shady part of my house, but stuck it outside. Seems to like the heat! Mother-in-law's tongue and snake plant are two names I have heard are common, I call it snake plant. I;m no expert tho. When it bloomed, I looked it up and was surprised to see another name was tiger-tail orchid hehe. Bit of fun this morning. |

yeh, i see them all the time, i wonder what the association between them and doctors is because they are always at them here in australia too

I have had them for years and never knew that they bloomed. Hmmmmm now to research and figure out how to get flowers.

WOW!! I'm glad you posted this. Here's one that I have it's called sansevieria cylindrica, it's cool, it's been out all summer and doing great. I potted up a piece and now it has 3 pups or whatever you call them, google it, see what a great plant it is. Jonada if you come back to this post let me know if you want a piece of this plant.... | sadly they technically aren't an orchid, but now that i know they flower, i must say that my interest in them has increased
