Anyone care to try this one?

My mom's friend gave her this plant a couple of years ago, but there was no tag (of course!)

Would anyone care to venture a guess as to what it may be?

Commonly called Peruvian daffodil - or hymenocallis festalis.
Look this up in Google Images and you'll see lots and lots of gorgeous examples!
Here is one of them - Google Image Result for http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/2002/08/19/Wintermoor/9d418c.jpg

haha. Love to see geek love.

That is a very neat looking plant. Not usually a big fan of white but I like it.

i got a bulb of this awesome flower this year. hopefully it'll grow in a pot in wyoming i pretty much have a black thumb for growing ANYTHING outside, so cross your fingers for the poor thing. i am very liable to kill it.

Love to all! This poor baby is so abused! It rarely gets watered, is sitting in a pot with no drainage, gets urinated on by my brother's dog, and everything that I have found as far as caring for it has never been done.

And yet, it grows and flowers...

My mom has decided that it needs to go to a good home so tonight, she will be mine!

Now I'm wondering if it will go into shock from being treated with love and care instead of abuse

No time like the present to find out!
