What other non-orchid plants do you have blooming right now?

I have a small pot of clover but its little white flowers have just died off.... but my air plant ball has been blooming like crazy... The green spikes turn a faint orange/purple color, where the purple blooms come out often in clusters of 3 per plant. There is approximately 21 plants on this, and its about the size of a softball.

VO, That is so cute. I came in contact with air-plants last year and tried two, but I guess I was so used to watering that although I tried not to I probably still exposed them to too much water. I try again them again though.
I'll share some of what I have blooming now below.

Heather

i don't have any pics at the moment, but i have 5 colors of thanksgiving cactus (orange, pink/white flare, coral, white, and red) and a pale pink african violet. i have one orchid blooming, and another that should be open any day now. but other than that, it's pretty much a sea of green at my house.

I should take more pics of my other plants but I don't. Poor things...so neglected since the orchids moved in.

I do have a pic of this one because I've never seen one in bloom.

Sanseviera cylindrica

This was when the spikes were first long...I didn't know what to expect yet and thought this was going to be it.

Nope...this is what it ended up looking like...

I thought it was very cool.

My trusty african violets came back from the dead and started blooming again, some various kalanchoes, and purple heart vine are in bloom. Still awaiting my first orchid spikes' buds to open, but in the meantime...

Same here...I had never seen one in bloom prior to this. I've had this plant since it was tiny and this is the first time it's bloomed. I'm chalking it up to the much higher light it got this past Summer. The orchids pushed it a bit further out into direct early afternoon sun....it must have liked it.

Careful Geeks!!! I started a thread a while back in the middle of winter about 'What I see out my kitchen window'. It showed hanging blooming cymbidiums, roses, geraniums, tulips and various other beautiful flowers. I thought it was a good idea, giving us a glimpse into other geeks' world around the globe. It seems the timing was very insensitive with the cold, cold weather, snow and violent storms going on in other parts of the country.
I was pummeled with Geek tomatos and my thread came to a sad and short end!!!
It wasn't pretty.....it's a good thing we don't have rock emoticons!! Be forewarned!

pic of my pink/white thanksgiving cactus before it bloomed completely out. it had just the one flower at the time and i thought it looked particularly pretty from this angle. and i'm too lazy to take a current pic, or pics of the other ones blooming lol.

hehe I think phalpal was trying to say everyone is suffering cold miserable weather, or just nasty storms for those in the southern hemisphere, to post pictures of beautiful weather and plants outside maybe?

Can't post pictures yet as still have to make a few more posts, but there are an azalea and three african violets in bloom now at my windows: a pink/white one, a violet/white one and a violet one . An eastern cactus has also developed about 7 buds and in about a week I expect the first one to open. It would be the first time for that eastern cactus to bloom!

This has just finished blooming in my bedroom - it's a Hippeastrum hybrid "Carmen". Currently on the sunny windowsill and growing its seed pods - I hope to germinate some out of it.

hmmm in bloom here in my own private collection..... Im about to have some blooms on some pepper plants, and I do have some blooms on my chenille plant, and thats about it at the moment, but outdoors not far from my apartment, hybiscus of every color are in full bloom, as well as azaleas, and plums, (on the mainland cherry trees are about to start, but we had those in bloom in Feb. here) and Sunflowers are just about done.
