Blooms out in the yard

We've had some good rain in the past week and that really helped get some blooming going. I've tried to plant things so that blooming takes place all summer and fall and a lot of what blooms attracts butterflies.

And a few more. I found a gorgeous rose bush called Disneyland and it changes color from pink to orange and as it transitions it has both colors in it. I'm waiting for that to start blooming because it is really beautiful

Just beautiful Synda. I remember your past yard pictures. Just lovely. I like the idea of planning season long blooms. I've never mastered that. An organized yard is sure a sight to behold. Beautiful.

Those Campanulas can be pretty invasive (which is a good thing if you like them as much as I do)! I'm collecting quite a few now.
Great time of the year for those of us with a less warm climate!

I thought they were really pretty in my neighbors yard so I asked if I could get a couple. I am constantly digging trying to keep them in check. Plants with underground runners can really get around, so once thy finish blooming, I dig some up so they don't get out of hand. If I had realized this at the time I planted them, I would have passed on them.

Some Campanulas make great pot specimens, others not so good.
I have C.Glomerata, C.Persicifolia & a hardy Geranium all battling it out with one another in a section of bedding; It's like the "Rumble in the jungle"!!!
