Buddah Belly

I have Buddah Belly bamboo growing in my back yard and LOVE it.
It is of the clumping varieties and grows very quickly here in FL

Hi Penny...I have them planted outside and want them to buddah belly ..so mine will get to be about 15 feet tall..If you don't make them buddah they can get up to 40 feet tall.
They are a clumping variety and very pretty,,,if not stunted to cause buddahs they sort of zig zag

your super cold zone 5 or 4 winter would kill it in a nyc min...if you want cold hardy bamboo see steve at tripple brook farm outside springfield mass..tell him chele sent you...i go to nh often and even thou im in tn i was born in mass and grew up there

Most likely it is Bambusa vulgaris 'wamin'. I have one growing by my pond & love it.
