Blooms in the yard

Colors are coming back now with the warmer weather. Some things will take a while to bounce back from the freezes, and some might never bounce again.
But here are a few things.
Blooms in the yard-yellow-flower.jpg cutting from a local garden reporter from Nov.

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-lipstick.jpg cutting from a friend 3 yrs ago. Lipstick.

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-lipstick-2.jpg Lipstick. (Is it part of the Hoya family?)

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-african-iris-1.jpg African Iris

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-african-iris-2.jpg

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-amaryllis.jpg Amaryllis

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-stromanthes-1.jpg Stromanthe (tri-colored ginger)

Blooms in the yard-in-the-yard-stromanthes-2.jpg

Hope you enjoy.

Seems to me that you African Iris is a Fortenight Lilly. Of course I could be wrong to.

Nice collection. The lipstick leaves look like Hoya leaves to me. The ginger is nice. I like them a lot.
I also have two very large bushes of the African iris that frustrates me cause the seeds are everywhere making new plants that I'm constantly pulling up. Although the flowers are pretty.
Anyone want African iris plants? I have many to get rid of.

Solay, they do spread some. Plus when they get too dry, leaves die and they can look scraggly and it can be time consuming to clean them up. I'm terrible about throwing out live plants. I've been potting them up and then transplanting out at our property east of here.
