spring bulbs

This popped up along my pond. Never saw it before. But this is the first "spring" Im experiencing at my new house (moved in last april). Most of the blooms have either fallen off or were picked off by my daughter.

they are some type of snowdrop (galanthus?). i planted 10 of them about 5 yrs ago; one came up. it bloomed for the first time this year. but when they're happy they do the clumping thing.

Sigh. We're at the storm's end of the mess going on in Fargo. Today on the 10 mile drive home from work, I saw sun, rain, sleet, hail, rain, sun, a few snowflakes, and some more rain. Two weeks ago it was in the 50's and even 60, and the last week plus has been 40's and now 30's forecast for tomorrow - for a high!! Some April Fools' Day! This is even weird for Minnesota!

Boy that sounds like bad weather. I don't envy you. I hate cold weather.
