| B. Little Stars... dying! All the leaves have gotten black and started falling off. I tried moving it back on the table so it would get less light but that doesn't seem to have helped. ![]() |

| Black leaves this time of year is almost certainly fungal. It is surprising since Little Stars is a strong plant and one of the last to be attacked by fungus. Stop watering completely and give it some time. It will either be dead in a week or it will recover. There is no treatment if it is as far along as you say. I have seen some that lose most leaves and recover. Practice standard hygiene and avoid spreading it with your hands. It is not very contagious but it can be spread.

| Anything with B. nodosa in it is pretty indestructible. Only cases I can thing of is if it got too cold, or some other stressor like my experience with bad neem oil, where I almost lost my nodosa 'Susan Fuchs' to fusarium. But my leaves didn't turn black, just shriveled, so I am guessing it might cold damage.

| Umm, I'll try to get a picture tomorrow although I don't think anything is left. I'm been a little sick so I'm a little behind on pictures (but I watered the orchids that needed it on Sunday). |
