OK, so I was bad today

I had to go to LOWES to return an item for my darling wife, and what should I discover on a hand truck, not yet unpacked for sale, but a tray of these little lovlies! I thought, 'What would Shann do'? Then promptly picked my 3 favorites before continuing my shopping. They had some additional plants not even unboxed yet, but from peeking in, it looked like mostly house plants.

I just may have to swing by tomorrow to make sure there were no bag babies hiding in those cartons that I can't live without
Oh, the tags read Tolumnia Jairak Firm No.471; Onc. Richella x Robsans Choice; Onc. Good Show'Richella' x Robsan Choice Red, which was picked more for the large plant than the blooms. Of course, can't say I trust the name tags that Better Gro supplies 100% Hopefully, the more we buy their orchids, the more variety they'll add!

Isn't it pretty though? None of the other ones on the tray were near as pretty as this one. All of your choices look really healthy. I spent a good couple hours just drilling pots and repotting today. I still have several more to go!

At this point I'm not sure I'm glad or sad that we don't have Lowes here... But it got me thinking of looking up regulations about bringing orchids to Brazil next time I visit my dad in Orlando...

Went back today to see if I could find something for a friend, but all I found was a HUGE B nodosa Mas Mejor bag baby that I couldn't leave there! That makes 6 new plants in 2 days... I'm becoming financially embarrassed for this month, so I NEED to stop for at least a few weeks, (guess I just won't look ) Oh, my darling wife actually came up with the money for that big nodosa. Gotta love her! OH NO, I forgot about 4 plants on ebay I have bids on... oh well, may not win

Tony, it looks like you're catching up with me!! I'm waiting for a shipment of 4 'chids right now, and I'm trying to work out which ones I'll get from Oak Hill Gardens, but I'm trying to be good until March. Its a little easier since our Lowe's is kind of lame in the orchid dept, and Home Depot is below lame.

We do have Trader Joe's though... Hmmmm
