Latest Zygo Flowering

Here is my Zyg Kiwi Choice 'Adelaide' x Dynamo 'Splashes' in flower.

I won it in a raffle at our club last year.

There is still one more bud to open, but just had to share it now.

Photography tip.

I put it on the dinner table, put my Olympus point n shoot on my small tripod, set White Balance to "Fluoro", set the camera on self timer, Exposure Compensation to +0.5, and CLICK!

All over in 1 min 45 secs.

Done.

Hi Anton, that is very nice! I am waiting on a zygo which has produced four spikes and I am hoping that they will all blossom at the same time. Two spikes from the latest psbulb and two from the previous bulb. This has never happened before and I wonder if any of the members have had similar experience. Pics. if it all comes good.

Bill

Leathal, actually, no.

I know it looks like it, and was surprised when I saw the effect, but I just placed the plant on the dining room table which has a north facing window (equivalent to your south facing windows)and that is just the daylight light coming through our vertical blinds in the window.

It is probably the light between two of the slats in the blind that caused it.

Gee I'm good to be able to recreate studio effects without trying.
