Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure. A couple of the pics are from when the job was done and all of the setups were completed from last night.

I didn't realize how much was actually involved in a setup for a show. It's a lot of work and detail. D-e-t-a-i-l especially

My camera decided to be ebil today and just absolutely decided not to cooperate with me until later in the afternoon. Some of the pics just don't do the flowers justice, but you can get the idea.

The neatest orchid is the very last one in Post #7. It's called Ceratostylis pleurothallis (sp. mini Cambodia). This one was AOS awarded. I think a CCM, maybe it was CVM? I can't remember. This plant is no bigger than my thumb. The blooms are even tinier than that. It took me forever and a day just to get this crummy pic. Still, you can see the detail and color of the the blooms from this dainty little orchid.

Isn't it precious?

I guess I need to lay off the coffee just a little.

Those are made of real orchids. It's jewelry that uses real flowers and the blooms are flash frozen, (freeze dried) and then laquered. Final step is trimmed in 24K gold plating. I bought a yellow Dendrobium brooch that can also be worn as a pendant.

Your show pics are FANTASTIC!!!

Unfortunately there's one glaring error in naming. The speckled white paph is not Jade Dragon (fairreanum x malipoense), it might be Paph Angela, can't be 100% sure.

Here's what Jade Dragon looks like
and another Jade Dragon
Note all the green in Jade Dragon which comes from the malipoense. Note there's no green in the paph in the show.

I was just thinking that the Jade Dragon looked a lot like Angela.

The Pics of the show are great! Here I was at one a week ago, and I'm already going through withdrawal! The jewelry is so cool! The Lc.Angel's Fantasy in the first group is scrumptious. That's one that I would love to have. Who am I kidding? I want them all! I'm not greedy at all...

Thanks for posting all those pics. I have to go out today( blah) but I have something to look forward to when I get home. I can look these over again.
