Here's some pics. of the CNYOS show.

It was great meeting "Doc" aka dr_frnkblk. I'm always nervous meeting new people, but he was very easy to talk to. I'm so glad he told me about this show.

The setting was very nice and even though it wasn't a huge show, it was really nice, with some very cool stuff!

Last shots, plus a few from our ride home. I'll post about my new chids in another thread.
I posted some of the orchid quilts there, since I'm also a quilter. The room off the back of the building, had birdfeeders outside the windows. (nice)
Next to last pic is one of the lighthouses on the east end of Oneida lake that we visited on our way home. (We've seen 99 now!)

Last pic. was the rainbow on the way home.

I only got a few chids, but they're good ones. I'm putting up a thread of them next. The little black orchid after the Vanda, I forgot the name... I'm sure one of our veteran growers will know. The bloom was only about 3/4 of an inch. SOOO cool.

Thanks, Chris! I had just been talking about my Paph. Angela spiking- and Kevin had posted some pics. of it. I get to the show, and there is a sweet one, just waiting to be admired!

Awesome pictures! I love the Paphs.

I am also a quilter, I would love to find some orchid fabric, I haven't seen any around here. I will have to look harder!

you should've bought it!!! the shot and the flower are lovely!

It was one of the flowers in a display so she couldn't buy it otherwise we would have had to trow some fisticuffs over it.
