I have Aussie Gold. It's okay to an extent. I found ups and downs with the mix, depending on what you use it for. With the Phals, I had to mix it with larger coco husk chips. Reason was because every time I watered the fine coir would wash to the bottom and wash out, leaving only the Diatomite and other chunks. It's still a good medium, don't get me wrong, you just have to experiment with it.

I do suggest trying it on one plant and see how it does in your enviroment first before you go and repot every plant that you have. Some people have great results with this stuff while others have had only very poor repore to give.

I'm in the 50/50 catagory. LoL

I believe PhalPal (Connie) uses this for her phals? I have not compared it to what I use (home-made mixture of coir, perlite, & charcoal) but she claims it is similar.

Hehehe. Orchidolics will come up with anything to see and obtain orchids.

Good luck with entering in shows. I hope you win many.

RePotMe in Maryland[google for web address] will mix up whatever mix you would like to use. His shipping is fair but this stuff is heavy. You might do better finding a local grower who may have exactly what you want and be willing to sell some.
