| Hi Mallardman and welcome to the forum. I see you're in Michigan. I grew up there. You dont' have to wait a set amount of time after repotting to pollinate an orchid. In fact some types of orchids need to be repotted evey year which would make it difficult to pollinate if you had to wait for a time. Are you referring to a Phalaenopsis (Phal)? They should be repotted in spring after the bloom has faded and they typically flower in the winter/spring. Some varieties can flower just about any time and some are even sequential flowerers, nearly always in flower.
