Paph Repot Time?

I purchased a maudie paph in September and the bark mixture seemed quite fresh. It bloomed and has since had three new growths, one with five leaves now.

This is my only paph and it's been doing so well that I'm amost afraid to repot, however, lately it seems to be climbing upwards out of the bark. The roots look very healthy and are circling around the inside of the pot. Is this an indication that it needs to be repotted now even though the media still looks good?

Paphs must have fresh media and repotting once a year is recommended even if the old media still looks good. After a Paph finishes blooming is generally the time to repot as they are usually starting new growths at this time as well but not every Paph will bloom every year so then it becomes amatter of opinion. I find they respond best if repotted in late winter/early spring (about the same time you'd be repotting the ones that have just finished blooming).

Thanks Kevin. I'll do the repot this week. This was one of my finds from Oak Hill Gardens and has been a real success for me.
