Surprise Keiki while Repotting Angraecum sesquipedale. Suggestions?

So, I recently recieved two spiking Ang. sesquipedales and went to repot them in a larger home with some CHC when I discovered one of them had a keiki growing from the roots! Not sure what to do about it...

Shot of the plant in question with a size comparison of my hand.

Close-ups of the keiki.

The prior container was very loosely filled with coarse fir chunks and was pretty empty. I was looking to put them in 6 inch plastic pots with holes and CHC but with the baby there I'm afraid I may smother it. Here's a shot of the other one for reference after potting it up.

Any suggestions? Should I pot it specially or will the baby find its way out fine?
Thanks

I'd just pot it back up as if the basal growth wasn't there. Of course, being careful not to break it. This is what these guys do...basal growths...and it should be able to find it's way out if it's strong enough...which I suspect it is.

If you try to remove it right now, there's a strong chance it won't survive. It'll stand a better chance of making it if you wait until it's a good deal bigger and older before you remove it.

Thanks. I'll do that. It reminds me a lot of my lucky bamboo I used to have. It shot a bunch of sprouts up through the gravel. We'll see how of does then

To clarify, I wasn't planning to remove it, but was curious if I should try to pot the whole plant a specific way to allow the keiki to grow out of the pot or just position it normally?

Haha, I figured. I wish we were getting some snow... I'm tired of this unseasonable winter weather.
