Best Mix for Eplc. and Paph?

I'm going to repot my Eplc. Mae Bly 'Ching Hua Splash' pretty soon, I just wanted to see what everyone thought would be the best mix. I have some good quality fir bark and will be getting some sphagnum moss pretty soon, but wasn't quite sure if I should use 100% fir bark.

I also have a Paph. delenatii 'Hsin-Ming' SM/TPS x Paph. delenatii 'HF Amy's challenge'AM/AOS that just finished blooming. The potting medium looks good from what I can see, so should I repot that? I don't see any new growth since it just finished.

I pot Cattleya types in a mix of medium bark, medium charcoal, and medium perilite.

I pot my Paphs in a mix of medium bark, medium coir chips, medium charcoal, small perilite, chopped sphagnum, peat, and if I have it available, a little sand and shreaded oak leaves.

I'm really glad I decided to repot that Eplc. I have. I found little centipedes in it! I made sure to thorougly wash the roots to make sure they weren't hiding. Also, the potting medium was very broken down.

I like bark mix for Cattleya although I was hydroponic rocks on many of my 6-8 inch pot.

Paphs want to be moist all the time and they do not like stale medium. Re-potting Paphs once or twice a year is recommended. They will begin to deteriorate long before the medium goes bad. Mediums can vary although a fine bark mix is most common. I plant many hydroponically in glass vases but I do not recommend everyone run out and re-pot this way.
