Just repotted

I just repotted this phal that has stop blooming and the spike was cut off. I bought it at a grocery store and to my surprise it was potted with bark. All the ones that I have bought at grocery stores are potted in sphagnum. I was very happy with the roots. I believe I only had to cut two little pieces. They all looked very good.

Those roots look pretty darn good to me. Looks like you are off to a good start with that one. Are you going to pot it back up in bark?

Shannara, I did. As a matter of fact I repot it with a bark that I forgot I left soaking and It had been soaking for almost a week. This is the first time I had taken a phal bought from a grocery store out of the pot, and found so many healthy roots.

Hi, the roots ok, not many are damaged, should start to grow upon repotting.
Any photos of the plant and pot after repotting!
Cheerio

Looks great, I was lucky here as well, mine was in bark Some bulk seller knows how to do it right. Now if the store people would just treat them right mine was water logged but it's very happy now and my buds opened up
