Epid Congestoides without medium

Oh Oh, now what! I received 6 new beautiful orchids yesterday from Tropical Orchid Farm in Hawaii. The epidendrum congestoides is in a 1-2 inch pot but there is NO potting medium, the roots are completely exposed. It appears to be a very healthy plant.

What's my next step? Leave it as is? I'm hoping mounting is not a suggestion as being the newbie that I still am, I don't know if I'm up for the challenge.
Repot it in fine bark?

Thanks!!
