Jumbled p-bulbs

I had this Cattleya amethystoglossa on a mount and demounted and potted it a few months ago, but I think I potted it wrong. I mounted it like this, too, but I think it was in the original pot like this. It seems all jumbled and I think it should be potted in a straight line, with the p-bulbs in a row. I vaguely remember trying to straighten it out from the original pot, but it was too jumbled. Should I take it out and try again? Maybe divide it?

Not all catts grow in a straight line. Some march across a pot...some grow neatly around the pot and make for a very neat display...and others grow multiple leads but not at all in neat and tidy manner. I don't grow this particular species but it looks very much like some of my less tidy catts.

Even if you could neaten up (which I don't think you can) I would leave it be in the pot and let it get settled into it's new home. The mount removal was disturbance enough...I would give it time to recover from that before you do anything else w/it.
