| I hate to cut leaves if I don't have to. Hopefully someone who knows what that problem is can tell you. If it is spreading I would first try to cut out the spots with a razor, then sprinkle cinnamon on the cut areas. If it still spreads, as a last resort I would remove the leaf. |

| The second picture is due to some kind of fungal attack. You may use some kind of fungicide. It ma stop the further infection. If you find the spots still growing.you will have to cut the leaves. You must keep it somewhere it gets good air circulation. And dont forget to add cinnamon powder on the cut.The first one seems to be due to root rot.Root rot occurs due to excessive watering and when the medium start to decompose. You must act quick before it dies off.I think it is time to re pot or try for a different medium. How long had it been after you re-potted it last time. Im not having a phal in my collection. You may look forward for replies from other geeks (Think twice before you act That is what it looks like to me.Anways Im not an expert. Hope it helps. | Both plants look like they're in pots much too large. Too much medium in the pot will stay wet and rot the roots. When you do repot, put them in a pot that will just accommodate the roots. |
