| Ok, thats i was in mind, but i don't want to accept'it!! I would like to know if he have a option to help the plant? And how the virus can be introduce in orchids collections, and more important, lets me know if all other orchids can catch this virus!!! |

| I don't think it is a virus. It looks like a pretty heavy fungal infestation to me. I saw some virused Den speciosum last year and they looked quite different. I hink if this were my plant I would: 1) remove damaged and dead leaves and dispose of them away from your growing area 2) treat the rest of the plant with a good fungicide 3) increase air flow around the plant 4) protect it from any extremes in temp, light, or other.

| A good natural fungicide is cinnamon. You can sprinkle it on the areas of the affected site after removing all the main areas of infection. Be sure to give ample air cirulation to the plant so that it can "air out". Moist areas accelerate fungal growth.
