Exclamation brown spots on my orchid

Hello!
I have a problem with my orchid. I bought it at a flower show on the last day(of the show). I was told it is an oncidium. It was not kept under the best conditions. The shop keeper left it in the ceramic pot half filled with water overnight so now I am having a strict water regime.
A few days after I got it, these spots appeared. They have not spread and they have not got bigger. Also I have a dendrobium, a cambria and three phalaenopsis that are doing fine. Just as a precaution I moved the affected orchid away from the other ones.
Just to describe the conditions in which the plants grow: humid(naturally), very bright - but no direct sun light, watering every week - depending on temperature. Sometimes I spray them with water - every 1 to 2 days. I live in greece, so now it is quite warm.
I am worried it is a fungus or a virus. I would not like to get rid of it, as I usually buy poorly plants for less and them tlc them to being healthy.
Please advise! Sorry for babling..
Thanks

Vasilis

Those are fungus. With humid environment they grow really well. Unfortunately, there is nonthing you can do as
this is quite normal for oncidium and dendrobium. You can prevent it spreading if you don't spray water on the leaves. The good news is that they are not fatal with good control
Spray some fungicides will help.

This is probably nothing serious. If you don't like the looks you can cut the affected area away with a clean cutting tool and dust the cut edge with cinnamon. If you heat-sterilize your cutting tool, it will automatically seal and sterilize the edges.

Thank you for your replies.
Whatever it is it seems to be spreading. Not fast, but it is. I does not bother me, I just want to make sure the plant survives and that if it is a disease, it does not spread to my other orchids. Should I stop feeding it or watering it as I would normally during its growing season? It has alot of flower stems that so far seem to be doing fine. Could over crowding be an issue? There are 6 pseudobulbs in the same pot.
I think I will spray them with a fungicide as a preventative measure. Do you think the cinnamon based one is adequate or should I use something stronger? I would appreciate in your suggestions that you write the active ingredients and not just a brand name because I live in Greece and products here have different names.

Thank you for all your help.

Vasilis
